We offer professional blister package design and production services for pharmaceutical, pharmacy, cosmetics, clinical trials, contract packagers, medical device, child-resistance features & testing, vitamin, coffee & tea bag, and veterinary for material testing or other marketing & short run sample needs.

 

Our packaging design team has over 25 years of engineering & production experience and can provide a professional design and sample production program for your packaging project. Utilizing our ProPacker 150/6 or 30CP blister packaging machinery and our expanded production packaging suite, we can provide professional blister package samples at greatly reduced costs with fast deliveries. We specialize in child-resistant package designs for testing and small scale concept projects for customers that can’t afford full scale blister packaging systems. 


What we need to evaluate a packaging project:


  • Samples of the product that you wish to package
  • Project non-disclosure (if required)
  • Sample of a package that you wish to copy or a hand drawn sketch of your package including basic size and amount of product on the package
  • A brief explanation of the intended use or marketing goals
  • Shelf life requirements to help us determine proper materials or special materials you require
  • Any special opening features (ie. push-through, child resistant, peel-push etc.)
  • Any printing requirements
  • Quantity of sample packages that you wish us to produce
  • (Later) - sufficient quantities of sample product to fill

Our engineers will then provide you a free evaluation and estimation of design potential and options, materials and program cost. Once you decide to proceed, we will then:

  • Issue CAD based package and Layout drawings for review and approval (provided in PDF form)
  • Design and manufacture any tooling required for our production machinery
  • Procure any packaging materials required for your project
  • Issue printable copy proofs (if required)
  • Setup and run your packaging project in our  packaging suite

Typical R&D packaging design projects can cost $50K or more due to the size and tooling requirements for most machinery used by larger contract packagers. Our programs are designed to minimize tool change parts, maximize machine setup and provide quality sample package lot runs at reasonable costs. Small lot runs are our specialty!
